CNC Manufacturing Engineer
Position Overview
A growing precision CNC machining environment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support production, drive process improvements, and optimize manufacturing operations. This role operates within a team-oriented setting and requires a hands-on, technical approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions to complex manufacturing and production challenges
- Analyze and improve machining processes, assembly methods, tooling, and material usage
- Increase production efficiency and reduce non-value-added time on the shop floor
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Design and develop tooling and fixtures for new and existing products
- Collaborate with suppliers, operators, and cross-functional teams to improve quality, safety, and cost
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures
- Support project execution; participate in and/or lead cross-functional initiatives
- Ensure production schedules and quality standards are met
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with CNC turning and milling programming
- Strong hands-on machining experience with a proven track record of process optimization
- Experience working with tight tolerances and complex manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and G-code programming
- Ability to improve manufacturing efficiency through process analysis and implementation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or similarly regulated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and quality systems
- Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Seiki, or OSP
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM tools such as SolidWorks, Mastercam, FeatureCAM, or PartMaker
Additional Information
- Technical degree preferred but not required; equivalent hands-on experience strongly valued
- Must be comfortable in a hands-on, production-focused environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
