The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Haas CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components. - Experience with 3-axis, 4th, and 5th axis Haas mills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and LEAN manufacturing practices.
- Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG).
- Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).
- Strong understanding of machining principles, feeds/speeds, and tool selection.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T symbols.
- Experience with tight tolerances (e.g., ±0.0002") and high-precision parts.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining, specifically with Haas equipment.
The role is based in a machine shop within a small to midsize, family-owned company. The environment is straightforward with minimal politics, offering straight shifts including 7-3p, 3-11p, and 11-7am.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellefonte, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
