Job Description
Join a large international manufacturer specializing in high-reliability electronic components and connectivity solutions used in mission-critical applications. Our focus is on designing and manufacturing connectors, RF/microwave components, optical products, and semiconductor test solutions serving industries such as Semiconductor Test & Electronics, Medical Devices, and Industrial Equipment. This facility is dedicated to manufacturing and engineering of electronic components and semiconductor test technologies, emphasizing product development, testing, and precision manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Setup, program, and operate Fanuc & HAAS CNC milling centers using Master CAM software.
- Utilize blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Work with close tolerances using required gauges and inspection tools. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Document information pertaining to setup and operation of each job using written descriptions, sketches, and solid models.
- Train junior operators and apprentices.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
- 3-7 years of machining and CNC setup, programming, and operation experience.
- Proficiency in Master CAM software.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex machine and component drawings.
- Ability to speak/read English and understand verbal instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work well with limited supervision.
- Ability to train others.
- Ability to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
- Experience programming and/or operating Fanuc robots, Roku-Roku, and Fanuc RoboDrill is a plus.
- GD&T and micro machining experience is a plus.
The position is a first shift role, operating from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.00/hr.
