CMM Programmer (Zeiss Calypso)
Develops and maintains CMM inspection programs to ensure accurate measurement of complex parts. Supports metrology operations, troubleshooting, and process improvements in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and validate CMM programs from drawings and CAD models
- Program using Zeiss Calypso or similar software
- Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T for accurate inspections
- Troubleshoot measurement and equipment issues
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production on part quality
- Support continuous improvement and standardization efforts
- Perform manual inspections to verify CMM results
- Manage multiple programs and priorities in a high‑mix environment
Key Requirements
- 3 years of CMM programming experience
- Proficiency with Zeiss Calypso or similar systems
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Experience with manual inspection tools (micrometers, gages, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting
