Job Title: Civil Inspector
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Civil Inspector to join our team and ensure quality and compliance across civil infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect roadway, highway, bridge, and water infrastructure projects for compliance.
- Monitor soil and slope stabilization efforts for safety and quality.
- Oversee installation of traffic signals, lighting, and ITS systems.
- Verify contract and plan compliance throughout all phases of construction.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and certify materials used.
- Utilize Site Manager and/or APPIA software for documentation.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience inspecting civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of NYSDOT specifications and reporting standards.
- Proficiency with Site Manager and/or APPIA software.
- NICET certification required; Civil Engineering degree preferred.
Additional Information
- Work involves on-site inspections in varying weather conditions.
- Travel to multiple project locations may be required.
- Safety compliance and proper construction site attire are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
