Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in land development design. The ideal candidate will produce site layouts, plans and profiles, grading plans, stormwater management reports, drainage calculations, pump calculations, water and sewer line design, and road design. This role involves preparing and reviewing construction documents, engineering plans, and specifications to ensure all designs meet technical standards and project requirements with minimal supervision. You will coordinate with project team members to ensure smooth project execution from conception to completion, communicate directly with clients, and provide detailed project updates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review construction documents, engineering plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet technical standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project team members for smooth project execution.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide detailed project updates.
• Coordinate project submittals and facilitate regulatory agency approvals.
• Obtain construction permits.
• Provide expert testimony at various municipal and county boards.
• Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs.
• Produce reports in a technical writing format.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies for project approvals.

Essential Skills

• Mastery in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience in land development and site development.
• Proficiency in stormwater management.
• Must have a Civil PE license.
• Must have NYC Project Experience in private or public sector buildings.
• Strong Civil Design experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Weehawken, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
