Actalent is hiring an experienced Professional Engineer who will oversee and lead projects focused on roads and site development, grading, pavement, stormwater, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems. Projects range from $2M-$250M in value and include projects within: Public: - Federal agencies (U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs). - State and municipal governments. - Educational institutions (K-12 schools, universities). - Transportation and civic infrastructure projects. Private: - Commercial facilities: civil and structural engineering for private developments such as office buildings, retail complexes, and industrial facilities. - Private housing and multi-family projects: Their portfolio includes senior and multi-family housing developments. - Design-build partnerships: Often with private developers for mixed-use or commercial projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- 10 years of experience in design and project management focused on site development, grading, stormwater, and/or water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems. - Experience with federal/DoD projects and public projects in CA is preferred. - Licensing as a Civil Professional Engineer in the State of California. - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s Degree preferred. - Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and stormwater report preparation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA.

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $68.00/hr.
