Civil Designer

As a Civil Designer, you will work within the Civil/Structural discipline with minimal direction from engineers or other technical professionals. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining 3D design elements based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope.

• Generate and maintain the Civil/Structural and multi-disciplinary model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output.
• Utilize software to produce designs as identified in the Digital Delivery requirements.
• Master Civil Site and Structural design disciplines and understand their interaction with other design disciplines.
• Develop an advanced understanding of engineering/construction documentation and plan presentation for Civil/Structural disciplines.
• Mentor and develop Digital Design staff within the Civil/Structural discipline.
• Accurately model 3D elements within spatial constraints using current 3D software.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams within project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain the discipline model, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, and scope boundaries.
• Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling outputs.
• Monitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health.
• Coordinate design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes.
• Execute all Design Delivery requirements identified for the project.
• Contribute to the development of the business class digital needs.

• Proficiency in BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.

• Familiarity with Bentley products is a plus, but not required.
• Demonstrated desire to learn new software.

The role involves working with advanced 3D modeling software to create detailed designs within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team setting. The position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all digital delivery outputs meet company standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Brentwood, TN.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Brentwood,TN.
