Job Title: QO Lab Analyst

Job Description

The QO Lab Analyst position is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, customer-oriented laboratory environment. The role involves analyzing various materials and samples in support of the company's quality program, utilizing both standard laboratory equipment and modern automated instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative assays on samples using a range of techniques.
• Document and record checks, troubleshooting assays as needed.
• Interpret and evaluate data for accuracy, precision, trends, and GMP impact, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
• Maintain high productivity and multitasking abilities with attention to detail and low error rates.
• Demonstrate flexibility and engagement in a changing environment.
• Display good laboratory techniques to prevent cross-contamination or misidentification of samples.
• Comprehend and perform both routine and non-routine analyses from various sources.
• Train others as skills and knowledge allow.
• Participate in laboratory investigations as required.
• Write routine assay protocols and conduct assay, process, or instrument qualifications.
• Learn new skills and techniques efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Chemistry, Quality Control, and Laboratory techniques.
• Experience with liquid chromatography and analytical chemistry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in high complexity technologies such as HPLC, uHPLC, or GC.
• Knowledge of low to medium complexity technologies like TLC, titrations, wet chemistry, and physical testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AAS, BA/BS, or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in Quality Operations preferred.
• Experience with advanced spectroscopy and water testing.
• Ability to lift occasionally (less than 35 lbs), reach, and sit while working at computer terminal.
• No sensitivity to Cephalosporin/Penicillin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
