Pharmaceutical Technician

Job Description

As a Pharmaceutical Technician, you will play a crucial role in setting up and performing changeovers on equipment according to batch and product requirements. You will ensure the quality and compliance of our pharmaceutical products by performing in-process inspections, maintaining production and quality records, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely product filling and shipment, while adhering to all safety and compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform changeovers on equipment according to batch and product requirements.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify fill volumes, weights, and quality against specifications.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records in accordance with cGMP and company documentation standards.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain fill line and associated equipment to meet safety and contamination control standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues or escalate complex problems to maintenance and engineering.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Logistics to ensure product is filled, labeled, and staged for shipment on time.
• Follow all EHS, ISO, and cGMP guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• Chemical handling and batch mixing experience.
• Ability to operate basic equipment and carry out routine tasks.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of GLP and GMP standards.
• Experience in maintaining batch records and documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a laboratory or cleanroom environment.
• Ability to follow strict, detailed instructions and work within given settings or parameters.

Work Environment

This position is based in a pharmaceutical lab with a cleanroom environment. The work schedule is B Shift, Wednesday to Saturday, from 6am to 5pm, consisting of four ten-hour shifts. Employees enjoy a consistent work-life balance with Sundays to Tuesdays off each week. This is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Birmingham,AL.
