Chemical Operator

As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for following specific batch sheets to carry out the correct chemical manufacturing processes. Your role will include transferring bulk liquids and chemicals from tankers and rail cars for production use and utilizing valve and pumping systems to transfer products. You will need to follow batch sheets for specific chemical formulas to produce the final product, adhere to SOPs and safety procedures, and document finished product results and necessary information. Collaborating with QC/Lab to ensure raw materials are correct and the product meets specifications is also essential.

• Perform chemical manufacturing processes by following specific batch sheets.
• Transfer bulk liquids and chemicals from tankers and rail cars for production use.
• Utilize valve and pumping systems to transfer products.
• Adhere to batch sheets for chemical formulas to produce the final product.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Document finished product results and necessary information.
• Collaborate with QC/Lab to ensure raw materials are correct and the product meets specifications.

• Chemical compounding and bulk transfers of high-volume liquid compounds.
• Experience with chemical mixing, compounding, blending, and batching.
• Familiarity with batch records, chemical manufacturing, batch mixing, food manufacturing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

• Experience in chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
• Skills in mixing, blending, and compounding liquid chemicals.

The work environment is a chemical manufacturing setting with a 1st shift schedule from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, working 40 to 45 hours per week with the option for overtime. The role also involves working outside occasionally to unload bulk tankers and rail cars of liquid chemical products.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Milwaukee,WI.
