Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chassis Technician to work on chassis components, ensuring precision and quality control according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role involves installing mechanical and electrical components, conducting inspections, and maintaining assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work on chassis components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions, ensuring accurate alignment, tight tolerances, and quality control.
• Install and secure various mechanical and electrical components, such as suspension systems, steering mechanisms, brakes, and wiring harnesses.
• Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks at each stage of the assembly process to identify and address any defects or deviations from standards.
• Diagnose and resolve assembly issues and mechanical problems effectively and efficiently, collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, part numbers, and any modifications made during the assembly process.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly procedures, suggesting modifications, and participating in training.

Essential Skills

• Automotive experience, either electric or traditional gas/diesel.
• Experience working on chassis, suspension, or electrical systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and prototype-development work on vehicles and suspension.

• Experience creating and following instructions to build complex assemblies with precision.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility, and act with complete integrity.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and diligent.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Sound judgment and team problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

The work environment will involve working with assembly equipment and tools in a team setting. Safety protocols and guidelines are to be strictly followed to ensure a safe and productive environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden Grove, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Garden Grove,CA.
