Job Description
The Cardiology Nurse will support a specialized Cardiac Arrhythmia program serving 115 enrolled patients. This role focuses on patient monitoring, education, and care coordination in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and comfortable with anticoagulation management and patient interaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily INR finger sticks and monitor results.
- Coordinate care processes based on lab outcomes.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and medication protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with cardiology providers to ensure continuity of care.
Essential Skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
- Experience in cardiology or anticoagulation management is a plus—but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- EPIC EMR experience is REQUIRED.
Work Environment
This is an on-site role in a collaborative outpatient cardiology setting. The position supports a low-volume, high-touch program focused on cardiac arrhythmia management and patient safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Princeton, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
