Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled electronics technician with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instruments and systems returned for service or repair, typically in areas like service support and metrology. This role involves troubleshooting to the component level.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations using various primary standards and measurement and test equipment (M&TE) as per prescribed work instructions.
- Prepare required documentation and maintain associated records.
- Convey data and trends on product calibrations to the appropriate person or department to assure customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unusual product issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintain all standards and M&TE.
- In a lab setting, analyze, troubleshoot, make repairs, resolve technical problems, and perform maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to the service center by customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree.
- Troubleshooting experience from school or hands-on work.
- Understanding of basic metrology concepts preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good attitude, meticulous, works well in a team setting.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment preferred.
- 6 months of experience using automated test systems preferred.
- Soldering experience preferred.
Work Environment
The work environment is located at a park. The position operates on the first shift from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with training during the same hours.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
