CAD Drafter

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team in the production of construction documents across multiple platforms, primarily focusing on AutoCAD. You will collaborate with project leads to develop plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details, supporting the studio team in all phases of architectural development. Your role will also involve ensuring quality control on the work produced by yourself and others.

• Produce construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project leads on developing plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details.
• Support the studio team in all phases of architectural development.

• Adapt to shifting project demands and maintain high-quality standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of constructability and basic construction practices.
• Experience in production home building and residential design.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
• 3-5 years of architectural experience.
• Experience in single-family, multifamily, and commercial projects.
• Familiarity with CBC, CRC, IBC, IRC, and related building codes.
• Ability to work from design sketches and drawings to create accurate Revit/CAD drawings.

• Proficiency in Revit and all Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work within an established drafting system to produce consistent results.
• Experience with redlining, design development, and construction documents.
• Experience with SketchUp and architectural design.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule, starting on-site in Roseville, CA, until fully trained. The office consists of a close-knit team of fewer than 12 people. Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an understanding of the need for flexibility at times. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with opportunities to work on diverse residential projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
