Job Description
We are seeking a motivated CAD Designer/Drafter to join our Civil Design Team in Richmond. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to collaborate on various land development projects. You will work closely with Design Engineers to create conceptual site plans, construction drawings, and as-built drawings. Additionally, you will collaborate with Land Surveyors to produce subdivision plats and land survey plats.
Responsibilities
- Produce conceptual site plans, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Collaborate with Design Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Create subdivision plats and land survey plats.
- Scan approved redlines and as-built drawings for records.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Understanding of drafting standards and practices.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with Terramodel.
- Experience with Civil 3D.
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with work primarily based in the Richmond office. Approximately 50-75% of the work will be conducted in Henrico. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
