Job Title: Design Engineer
Job Description
Join a dynamic team responsible for supporting the engineering department in manufacturing fire trucks for municipalities nationwide. This role involves collaborating with the inside sales team and dealer network to ensure accuracy in quotes and the feasibility of manufacturing requests.
Responsibilities
- 2D and 3D product design in SolidWorks, making small to more significant design modifications
- Create e-drawings that are used by the manufacturing and production team
- Work directly with dealers to modify and edit quotes, ensuring alignment with manufacturing capabilities.
- Utilize quote writer software and DraftSite equally to maintain clean and precise quotes.
- Collaborate with dealers to understand requests and validate the feasibility of orders.
- Act as a liaison between the engineering department and dealer network.
- Update and modify offerings in the quote writer software as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience in 3D modeling.
- Strong communication skills.
- Mechanical and schematic understanding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and blueprint reading.
- Troubleshooting abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.25/hr.
