New Opportunity for Team Lead AND Assistant Team Lead Bridge Inspector in NYC!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly experienced Team Lead Bridge Inspector with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to oversee complex bridge inspections, mentor junior staff, and liaise with stakeholders. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone passionate about public safety, infrastructure longevity, and team development.
Responsibilities
- Lead bridge inspection teams in the planning, execution, and documentation of routine and complex inspections
- Prepare and review detailed inspection reports and recommend maintenance or rehabilitation actions
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry standards (FHWA, AASHTO, etc.)
- Coordinate with clients and transportation agencies, providing expert guidance and professional insights
- Train and mentor inspectors and engineers-in-training
- Promote a culture of safety and technical excellence
🎓 Qualifications
- PE license required (active and in good standing in applicable state)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8 years of bridge inspection experience
- Strong command of inspection procedures, field safety practices, and structural analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a Permanent position based out of Jersey City, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
