Job Title: Experienced Bookkeeper
Location: New York City

We’re looking for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team at a growing NYC-based firm specializing in architecture, FISP, and façade restoration. What You’ll Do:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks and BQE Core
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, and project billing
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate job costing
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Create and manage detailed project and financial reports directly within BQE Core for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
- Train and mentor a junior financial associate to support administrative and bookkeeping functions
- Work closely with the principals and administrative team to streamline processes, optimize BQE reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience (preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction)
- Advanced proficiency in BQE Core—especially for reporting and project tracking
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- NYC-based candidates only
- Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
