Job Title: BIM Detailer

Job Description

This role involves working within an electrical contractor specializing in data centers, mixed-use, and multifamily projects located in Chantilly, VA. The BIM Detailer will contribute to the growth of the BIM department by focusing on electrical design and coordination, particularly on large data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical design and clash detections.
• Interact with project managers and installers.
• Produce construction documents using Revit.
• Create and manipulate Revit Families and Assemblies.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
• Ability to create and manipulate REVIT Families and Assemblies.
• Proficient in creating electrical construction documents.
• Understanding of NEC codes.
• Revit 3D modeling of electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience working in the BIM industry/electrical contractor.
• Familiarity with fabrication and detailing.

Work Environment

The position operates on a mostly 8-5 schedule with a hybrid work arrangement. The role primarily involves design and coordination of electrical systems with minimal fieldwork. Employees benefit from a 5% 401k match and work within a smaller electrical contractor backed by a large parent company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
