BIM Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical BIM Coordinator to support modeling and coordination efforts for electrical systems across complex commercial projects, with an initial focus on data centers. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in Revit and BIM workflows who is looking to grow their technical expertise in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The ideal candidate must have Revit Electrical Circuiting experience and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Work Environment:

This position is fully remote, with flexibility to work from anywhere (preference for candidates in Colorado or Florida). Optional in-office collaboration is available in:

• Golden, CO
• Colorado Springs, CO
• Melbourne, FL
• St. Petersburg, FL

You will join a close-knit BIM team of 5, becoming the 6th member under strong technical leadership. This role will primarily support data center projects, with opportunities to expand into other project types over time.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems
• Perform model setup and ensure adherence to project standards
• Collaborate with architects and other trade coordinators
• Review and respond to redlines, updating models and documentation
• Support 3D coordination and clash detection
• Assist with drafting and design updates in Revit
• Apply and manage Revit Electrical Circuiting within models

Qualifications:

• 1-10 years of overall BIM experience
• 1-2 years of electrical BIM/Revit experience
• Hands-on experience with Revit Electrical Circuiting
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and circuiting principles
• Experience with modeling, drafting, and 3D coordination
• Background in either a contractor or consulting/design environment
• Experience working on commercial projects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
