Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

As an Automation Technician, you will be the crucial last step before equipment is shipped out. Your role involves testing the functionality of systems, delving into PLC codes, ensuring pumps and valves operate correctly, and communicating effectively with machines. You will also troubleshoot any programming issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Test the functionality of systems before shipment.
• Review and adjust PLC codes to ensure proper operation.
• Verify that pumps and valves are functioning correctly and communicating with machines.
• Troubleshoot programming issues to ensure smooth operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Automation, Controls, or Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of experience with troubleshooting PLCs
• 3 years of experience testing industrial equipment
• 3 years of experience troubleshooting VFDs
• 3 years of experience with industrial or capital equipment

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with four 10-hour shifts. The role offers a pathway to advance into programming or electrical engineering positions, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
