Job Title: Automation Supervisor

Job Description

This hands-on leadership role involves daily coordination with Automation Technicians and cross-functional manufacturing support teams to drive productivity, safety, and quality across automation operations. The position requires both technical expertise and team leadership to ensure smooth execution of automation tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Automation Technicians and other manufacturing support groups to prioritize, assign, and lead daily tasks and project work.
• Train and support technicians to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
• Independently accomplish automation tasks and lead project execution, including troubleshooting and optimization.
• Implement and maintain manufacturing equipment and inspection systems to support operational goals and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and support project success.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve current setups, enhance efficiency, and support innovation in automation processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical engineering/technology
• Knowledge of injection molding
• Prior experience with machine vision inspection systems
• Experience in machining and fabrication
• Experience working with CAD
• Prior supervisory experience
• 5 years experience relating to implementation and maintaining high-speed precision manufacturing equipment and inspection systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
