Associate Quality Control

The Associate Quality Control position is a fully onsite role following a 4/10 schedule, meaning four days of work followed by three days off, with each workday lasting 10 hours. The role is based in Holly Springs, NC. The Associate Quality Control supports sample management and laboratory activities within the Quality Control department. This role is responsible for the receipt, handling, tracking, storage, and disposal of samples used in analytical testing while ensuring compliance with internal SOPs, regulatory requirements, and good documentation practices. The associate will collaborate closely with laboratory analysts, Quality Assurance, and other cross-functional teams to maintain efficient and accurate testing workflows.

• Receive and log incoming samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and chain-of-custody documentation for all samples.
• Coordinate sample distribution to appropriate testing labs and personnel.
• Maintain sample inventory and ensure timely disposal of expired or completed samples.
• Support investigations related to sample discrepancies or deviations.
• Assist in maintaining sample storage areas in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in audits and inspections by providing sample traceability documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sample handling processes.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to their periodic review and updates.
• Perform data entry and generate reports related to sample management activities.

• Associate degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years of experience in a laboratory or sample management role.
• Familiarity with LIMS or other sample tracking systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in GMP or ISO-regulated environments.
• Basic understanding of quality control testing workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
• High school/GED with 2 years work experience, or an Associate's degree with 6 months work experience, or a Bachelor's degree.

This position requires working fully onsite in Holly Springs, NC, with a 4/10 schedule of four days on and three days off, with each workday lasting 10 hours. The work environment is fast-paced and regulated, demanding attention to detail and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
