Job Title: Assistant Quality Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Quality Manager who will ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently met. This role involves acting as the lead point of contact for all quality assurance and food safety documentation, managing Quality Programs and Compliance, and maintaining SQF program documents to be audit-ready.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Act as the lead point of contact for quality assurance and food safety documents.
- Manage and organize SQF program documents, ensuring audit readiness.
- Maintain Identify Preserved programs, including Organic, Kosher, Halal, and NGMO.
- Perform product and material traces to ensure data accuracy and effective inventory management systems.
- Conduct mock trace exercises as required.
- Support and lead company-wide facility quality audits and inspections.
- Engage employees in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), programs, and policies to enhance compliance.
- Lead in resolving consumer complaints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or a similar field preferred.
- Experience with quality control and assurance in food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and supervisory skills.
- Experience with SQF audits and customer audits.
- HACCP and PCQI certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food quality and leading company quality audits.

This is a Permanent position based out of Streamwood, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
