The position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who wants to grow into a true co-manager, taking on meaningful scopes of work and building a clear path toward becoming a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing multiple luxury residential construction projects simultaneously from pre-construction through completion.
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, design teams, and clients to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Track project progress, costs, and timelines, and support project tracking and document control processes.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and detailed status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits throughout the project lifecycle to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to plans.
  • Assist in resolving field issues by coordinating with site supervisors and other team members.
  • Help ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
  • Support clear and consistent communication between clients, architects, and internal teams.
  • Help maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Drive and manage key scopes such as lighting packages, millwork, interior finishes, ordering, vendor coordination, and structural and mechanical scopes under the guidance of Project Managers.
  • Manage processes with subcontractors, including coordination, scheduling, and follow-up to keep work on track.
  • Assist with budgeting, estimating, and scheduling tools to support project planning and control.
  • Participate in or help lead site meetings when appropriate, and act as a point of contact on active project phases as responsibilities grow.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced builders and Project Managers to learn best practices in both construction and project/business management.

Essential Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination, preferably with residential projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).

  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to address field issues in coordination with site supervisors.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship in all aspects of project delivery.
  • Experience with project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, estimating, and scheduling tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Exposure to high-end custom residential construction.
  • Experience working with architects and design teams on architect-driven projects.
  • Familiarity with high-end residential construction processes and standards.
  • Experience with construction management software and scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor coordination and ordering for key scopes such as lighting, millwork, interior finishes, structural, and mechanical components.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Interest in growing into a Project Manager role through hands-on responsibility and mentorship.
  • Ability to thrive in a craftsmanship-focused, design-driven environment.
