Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join a growing design-build firm specializing in commercial and industrial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from concept through construction, collaborating closely with both the design and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, is confident in managing multiple project phases, and is interested in working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative design-build environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce architectural drawings and construction documents from schematic design through construction
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Support client interactions and participate in design meetings
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, and outside consultants
• Assist with code analysis, permitting, and regulatory approvals
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings during construction
• Participate in site visits to ensure design intent is maintained
• Help manage project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
• 5 years of architectural design experience, preferably in commercial and/or industrial projects
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience developing construction documents and coordinating across disciplines
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction methods
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a design-build environment
• Familiarity with industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse projects

This is a Permanent position based out of Brookfield, WI.

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.
