Applications Specialist

As an Applications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical information and assistance across a broad range of products. This role involves interacting with sales representatives, customers, and team members to ensure technical support is delivered effectively. You will also contribute to business development by assembling sales data and creating product support documentation.

• Provide technical information and assistance to sales representatives, customers, and team members.
• Record and maintain detailed records of customer contact.
• Communicate with engineering regarding potential product issues and their resolution.
• Create product support documentation and technical support literature.
• Assemble sales data for analytical and business development purposes.
• Attend trade shows and occasionally participate in customer installations or service situations.
• Assist in conducting product-related training for sales representatives and customers.
• Support company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate closely with other team members on day-to-day functions.
• Accept additional responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader.

• Technical support experience.
• Knowledge of agriculture and agribusiness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD and field service.
• Strong technical skills.

• Ag experience is highly valued and can compensate for the lack of a degree.
• Any field service experience is a plus.
• Suitable for candidates with an AG technical degree.

This is a fully onsite office job with consistent hours from 7:30-4 or 8-4:30. The office environment is supportive and offers opportunities for upward mobility. Employees may travel to trade shows and appointments as needed, but this is not a hybrid work schedule. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
