Job Description
The Applications Engineer supports the sales team by providing technical guidance, developing equipment solutions, and assisting with customer needs. Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to the sales team and assist with customer needs.
- Develop equipment solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Help customers select the right equipment and prepare quotes.
- Support revenue growth by bridging engineering and sales efforts.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, TEAMs).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and design skills.
- Familiarity with creating a bill of materials and proposal preparation.
- The candidate will be trained to operate a forklift.
The role involves working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams, requiring excellent communication and multitasking skills. The work environment is fast-paced and sales-oriented, necessitating proficiency with standard office software such as Microsoft Office and design tools like SolidWorks.
