Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and updating 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CREO, with a focus on sheet metal and plastic components and assemblies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure dimensional accuracy, apply appropriate tolerances, and maintain BOM integrity in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of components and assemblies using CREO.
• Manage CAD files and documentation through Windchill PDM.
• Apply proper tolerances and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain accurate and complete Bill of Materials (BOM) for assemblies.
• Format and label drawings in compliance within standards and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical drafting using CREO.
• Proficiency in Windchill for PDM file management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting project demands.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of sheet metal and plastic component design and manufacturing processes

Pay: $83,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
