About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Data Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data optimization across our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI experience, solid SQL skills, and the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. This person will work closely with multiple departments—including Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Training, Payroll, and Warehouse Management—to enhance visibility and decision-making through improved dashboards and reporting.
You will be working with data sourced from NetSuite, our custom-built CRM/Business Management System (MovEZ), and other operational tools. MovEZ is a proprietary in-house application, and you’ll receive full training from our internal developer on the platform and its database structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for multiple business units.
- Extract, transform, and load data from NetSuite, MovEZ (custom CRM), and SQL databases.
- Collaborate with department leads to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visualizations.
- Optimize existing dashboards and create new reporting solutions that support:
- Sales Funnel & Sales performance
- Dispatch/Operations
- Customer Service metrics
- Training & operational process KPIs
- Payroll & hours reporting (including ADP integration)
- Warehouse management and inventory visibility
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and analysis.
- Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and propose process improvements.
- Work closely with the in-house developer to understand data structures in MovEZ and ensure efficient data extraction.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI users across the company.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
- Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) or data from custom applications.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and convert them into clear, intuitive dashboards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience connecting Power BI with ADP or other payroll systems.
- Background working with operations, logistics, or field service data.
- Exposure to ETL tools or automated data pipelines.
- Familiarity with API-based data extraction.

- Hybrid schedule based in Boston, MA
- Collaboration with a cross-functional team and direct access to an in-house developer for MovEZ system training.
