Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute high-quality dishes aligned with menu standards.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team productivity and morale
- Plan menus that meet dietary requirements and customer preferences while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health standards
- Lead shift management activities, ensuring timely service and quality control during all operational hours
- Collaborate with Lodge management to optimize service delivery and guest satisfaction
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining, catering, or restaurant management
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a food service environment
- Strong background in food safety protocols, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Excellent menu planning abilities with knowledge of dietary accommodations
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse culinary team
- Experience in banquet service, event catering, or hospitality settings is highly desirable
