In essence, your role involves:
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payments
- Support month-end close activities including the assisting in the preparation of supporting schedules and workpapers
- Pull support for company audits and prepare documentation for SOPs
- Ad hoc projects as required
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Critical thinker with strong numerical skills who can articulate their thoughts and ideas clearly
- Good organizational, time-management, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Strong interest in the environmental commodity markets and energy transition, and you bring a proactive, resourceful, and positive attitude as well as a powerful work ethic
- Strong attention to detail with experience and comfort in Excel
