Director of Information Systems (Temporary Position)

ACT FULFILLMENT INC
Valley, CA Temporary
POSTED ON 7/8/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 9/8/2026

Position Summary

The Temporary (3 Months Maximum) Director of Information Systems (IS) serves as the strategic leader responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving the organization's business systems, information flow, and operational processes. This position is distinct from a traditional Director of Information Technology (IT). While IT focuses on maintaining infrastructure, networks, devices, and system availability, the Director of Information Systems focuses on how work moves through the organization.

Operating at the intersection of business strategy, process management, technology, and data governance, the Director of Information Systems ensures that systems support efficient, consistent, and measurable execution across all departments. This role partners with executive leadership and department leaders to identify operational challenges, improve workflows, and align technology investments with organizational priorities.

Success in this role is measured by improving organizational efficiency, strengthening accountability, reducing manual workarounds, increasing confidence in organizational data, and ensuring business processes are supported by scalable, integrated systems.
