Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is essential in promoting positive behavior change and enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA
- Teach communication, daily living, and social skills
- Support children in reducing problem behaviors while teaching replacement skills
- Collect accurate data during each session
- Follow confidentiality, HIPAA, and professional standards
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure consistency of care
Training & Certification
- Complete the Relias 40-hour RBT training course during Week 1 (provided by ABC)
- Successfully complete the Competency Assessment by Day 6
- Pass the official RBT exam within 60 days (Act covers supervision and up to 3 exam attempts)
- Receive ongoing coaching, feedback, and support from supervisors throughout training
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with support and training
- Must be able to pass a background check

Employment Details
- This position begins with a 60-day probationary period.
- Employment is contingent upon completing all training requirements and earning RBT certification within 60 days.
- If certification is not achieved, employees may be considered for a non-clinical role (if available) or employment may be ended.
