Class A Local Driver

ACT 2 Services is an established logistics company serving the SF Airport and bay area for over 30 years offering linehaul and local P/U & D.

We are looking for a TWO Full Time Class A Drivers: First position Sunday 8AM start, Monday to Thursday 2PM start. Second position Tuesday to Saturday 7AM/8AM start.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicant must be at least 23 years of age with at least two years of verifiable Class A tractor trailer driving experience.

Possess a current Medical Certificate. Must possess valid work authorization for US.

HAZ MAT CDL Endorsement preferable.

Clean MVR (no more than two traffic violation convictions, and one preventable accident within the past 3 years)

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Able to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment (or have a TWIC card or HAZ MAT license)

Able to lift 50 lbs.

Brief Job Description:

Pickup and delivery of shipments for our customers located throughout the SF Bay Area.

Professional, courteous and service oriented. Must have reliable attendance.

Comply with all DOT and CHP regulations.

Preform pre- and post-trip tractor and trailer inspections.

Follow company procedures for documentation/signatures for pickups and deliveries.

Follow all company safety policies and TSA security requirements.

Communicate with dispatch all delays, traffic, mechanical issues.

Promptly report all accidents/incidents involving company equipment or freight to management.

Keep trucks clean and fueled up.

Perform other duties as required and work overtime as assigned.
