What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish Interpreter position at ACSI Translations?
CONTRACT MODALITY: Independent Contractor Agreement
Per hour, on as needed basis.
AS AN INTERPRETER, YOU WILL:
Provide high quality, professional remote interpreting services to support the language
access and outreach needs of Limited English Proficient (LEP) or Non-EnglishProficient
(NEP) people in a variety of settings (such as but not limited to school meetings, conferences,
therapy sessions, interviews, medical appointments, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DESIGN SPECIALIST:
- Interpret (in both consecutiveand simultaneous mode) or moderate events
- Maintain your appointment schedule
- Provide assistance to other interpreters, clients and consumers on interpretation related
- issues
- Proactive communication with our clients and vendors in afriendly, professional manner
PERSON IN THIS POSITION MUST:
- Collaborate in a professional manner with other team members
- Follow Project Manager’s instructions and perform tasks accordingly
- Seek Project Manager’s support for difficult interpreting situations, and follow instructions
- Adhere to ACSI values, policies and procedures
- Adhere to the Code of Ethics
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a minimum of four (4) years of interpreting experience
- High level of fluency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge and adherence to theCode of Ethics, standards and protocols
