Job Title: Crab Bleeder (Seasonal)
Duration: End of May – End of November
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 5:30 AM – ~4:00/4:30 PM (4–5 days/week)
Pay Rate: $18.00 p/H W2
Overview:
Seeking reliable candidates to assist with horseshoe crab blood collection and lab processing. Full training provided on SOPs, cGMPs, and aseptic techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with crab blood collection and lab processing
- Perform tasks like centrifuging, pipetting, and solution prep
- Maintain clean, sterile work areas and equipment
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Handle materials in bio-safety cabinets
Requirements:
- HS diploma required; 1–2 years production experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Good teamwork, communication, and attendance
- Basic computer skills
Working Conditions:
- Mix of lab and outdoor/crab holding environments
- Physical work (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Exposure to disinfectants and chemicals
