Dispatch Coordinator

Job Summary
The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily scheduling and deployment of field technicians and inspectors. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and logistical skills to ensure projects remain on schedule and field resources are effectively utilized. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and enjoys collaborating within a team.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign daily schedules for field technicians based on job orders.
- Communicate with contractors and internal staff to confirm job details.
- Monitor technician availability and track project deadlines.
- Utilize and manage dispatch software (training provided).
- Maintain accurate daily logs and field status updates.
- Assist with client communications and basic project intake.
- Support inspectors with reports, time entry inquiries, and submissions.
- Ensure project information, names, and charges are accurately recorded in all systems.
- Review, notate, and distribute report corrections.
- Generate and distribute final summary letters.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in construction, field service dispatching, or logistics (preferred).
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and/or dispatch systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving skills.
