Job Summary

We are seeking both Experienced Apprentice and Journeyman Low Voltage Technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including security systems, computer networking, and other related technologies. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in various environments.
Duties
- Install and configure low voltage systems including intrusion detection systems (IDS) and computer networking solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize schematics and technical drawings to guide installation and repairs.
- Employ hand tools and specialized equipment to carry out installations and repairs efficiently.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to design system layouts that meet client specifications.
- Utilize remote access software for diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Experience as a service technician in low voltage or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer networking principles and practices.
- Familiarity with remote access software for system management.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective installation and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in using hand tools necessary for installation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
