IT Technician

Overview

ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This IT Technician role will support Technology Services with equipment deployment, workstation installation, device imaging, equipment staging, and surplus processing. Responsibilities include imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows laptops and desktops using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM) and Workspace ONE, as well as Dell Wyse thin clients using Wyse Management Suite. The role will also provide hardware troubleshooting, peripheral installation, and high-volume deployment support, along with inventorying, organizing, and processing retired IT equipment. This full-time position is located in Everett, WA.

Pay range: $33.87 - $35.75

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support to supplement Technology Services staff
• Deploy IT equipment and perform workstation installations
• Image, configure, and deploy Windows laptops and desktops using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM) and Workspace ONE
• Configure and deploy Dell Wyse all-in-one thin clients using Wyse Management Suite
• Stage equipment for workstation and device deployments
• Support high-volume workstation deployment activities
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and assist with resolution
• Install and configure peripherals and related equipment
• Disconnect and move retired IT equipment as part of surplus processing
• Inventory and organize surplus IT equipment, including desktops, monitors, servers, and peripherals
• Assist with equipment staging, organization, and surplus processing
• Perform other related technical activities as project needs dictate
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to perform regular physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving equipment
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 20 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive equipment installations and handling throughout the workday
• Ability to work onsite at designated facilities within the immediate work area
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to follow established safety procedures
• Ability to work under the direction of Technology Services staff
