Job Summary: The Front Desk Coordinator serves as the gatekeeper and manager of first impressions for ACS Manufacturing. This role is responsible for managing incoming telephone calls, greeting and directing visitors, and supporting various administrative and special projects as needed.
Job Responsibilities/Duties: Front Desk Coordinator
· Answer and route incoming telephone calls; take messages as necessary
· Maintain lobby traffic and ensure a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor at all times
· Manage visitor sign-in/out process and assist with catering for customers
· Notify staff of visitor arrivals and ensure visitors remain in reception unless escorted
· Provide directions to dispatchers, truck drivers, delivery personnel, and other visitors
· Maintain the appearance of the front lobby and conference rooms
· Check and distribute mail daily to appropriate departments
· Create business cards for internal personnel
· Maintain calendars for conference rooms and staff, as needed
· Monitor the Attendance Hotline and communicate absences or late arrivals to supervisors/management
· Assist with recruiting and onboarding activities, as needed
· Prepare new hire files and process termination files weekly
· Submit uniform orders for new hires and terminations to Cintas
· Support Human Resources with projects and administrative tasks
· Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong listening skills
· Follow ACS safety standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations
· Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
· 1–2 years of experience in a professional office setting
· Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook
· Must pass a drug screen and background check
Education:
· High School diploma or GED required
