What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Technician position at ACS Group?
- Set up and start injection molding machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Optimize molding parameters to ensure part quality, cycle efficiency, and minimal scrap.
- Troubleshoot process issues including flash, short shots, warpage, and other defects.
- Collaborate with tooling and maintenance teams to resolve mold and machine-related problems.
- Conduct mold changes and ensure proper documentation of setup parameters.
- Maintain accurate records of process adjustments, machine downtime, and quality checks.
- Support training of operators on machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Experience with electric and hydraulic injection molding machines.

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
