What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at ACS Group?
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on hot work and heat treat furnaces
- Calibrate furnace control instruments and record certification data
- Prepare survey racks and thermocouples for calibration testing
- Troubleshoot combustion systems to ensure optimal furnace performance
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and verify parts/certification before use
- Operate safely in a high-heat manufacturing environment
- Ensure all activities meet AMS2750 requirements
Qualifications
- Knowledge of PLCs and electro-mechanical furnace systems
- High School diploma or GED (technical certificate preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.82 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
