Alliance Computing Solutions (ACS) is a licensed vocational school offering career-focused training programs with financial aid options, including Title IV funding and workforce development grants. We are seeking 2–3 Outreach Recruiters to represent the school at local workforce and public assistance offices.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others advance their careers through education and who are comfortable engaging with diverse populations in community-based environments.
Position Overview
The Outreach Recruiter will serve as the first point of contact between prospective students and the school. The representative will be stationed at workforce development offices and public assistance centers, providing accurate information about career training programs, financial aid eligibility, and enrollment pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the school professionally at assigned workforce or public assistance offices.
- Educate potential students about available programs, career pathways, and funding options (Title IV, workforce grants, etc.).
- Pre-screen candidates for basic eligibility requirements.
- Collect contact information and refer qualified individuals to the admissions team.
- Maintain daily outreach reports and lead tracking documentation.
- Build professional relationships with case workers and workforce counselors.
- Follow up with prospective students to encourage enrollment.
- Uphold all compliance standards related to financial aid and government-funded programs.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse populations.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in outreach, admissions, workforce services, sales, or community engagement preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual skills strongly preferred (Spanish, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Korean, Bengali, or other commonly spoken NYC languages).
- Experience working in workforce development, social services, public assistance offices, or vocational education.
- Familiarity with Title IV financial aid or workforce grant programs is a plus.
