Job Title :Senior Database Developer & Cloud DBA (DB2/Oracle, Snowflake, Cognos, DataStage, Google Cloud Platform)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Experience in DB2, Oracle, and Google Cloud database administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management in bare-metal Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Red Hat Linux administration, including command-line operations, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.
- Experience in data modeling using tools such as Erwin Data Modeler to design and maintain OLTP systems.
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics, including expertise with Cognos Framework Manager, Data Modules, Report Studio, and related components.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts on platforms such as Oracle, DB2, or Google BigQuery.
- Experience with data integration tools and processes, particularly IBM DataStage, for designing, developing, and executing ETL workflows.
- Experience implementing and managing IBM Cloud Pak for Data, specifically the Knowledge Catalog, for metadata management, data governance, and data lineage tracking.
- Experience working with Snowflake Data Warehouse, including data ingestion, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts, including data preparation, model deployment, and model monitoring.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively alongside business analysts, developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders.
