Job Title :Database Admin ( DB2, Oracle, Cognos)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Experienced in administering databases on bare-metal Linux environments, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management.
- Skilled in Red Hat Linux administration, including command-line operations, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling techniques and tools, particularly Erwin Data Modeler, for designing and maintaining OLTP systems.
- Proficient in developing, deploying, and maintaining reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics, including Framework Manager, Data Modules, and Report Studio.
- Knowledgeable in data warehousing concepts across Oracle, DB2, and BigQuery platforms.
- Experienced in using IBM DataStage to design, develop, and manage ETL workflows and data integration processes.
- Skilled in implementing and managing IBM Cloud Pak for Data, with expertise in Knowledge Catalog for metadata management, data governance, and data lineage.
- Experience working with Snowflake, including data loading, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experienced inArtificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, including data preparation, model deployment, and model monitoring.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, data scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders.
