Acruity has been providing IT services to small and medium businesses in Northern Indiana since 2011. We're looking for a Network Engineer to join our local team. We're looking for Network Engineer candidates who have experience with:
- Some college or work-related experience in the IT field.
- Configuring and troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers in a business environment.
- Configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange Servers.
- Configuring and troubleshooting Network problems.
- Working with modern business software and technologies (ESET Antivirus, Microsoft Office 365, Google Apps, etc).
- An understanding of network services (DHCP/DNS/SMTP/IPSEC/QoS/WiFi/NAT/etc).
- An understanding of networking and routing (Cisco, HP, SonicWall, Barracuda, etc).
- An understanding of virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V).
- Product knowledge of hardware and software available for businesses (PCs/Macs/Servers/Microsoft Licensing/Networking Hardware/Computer Components/etc).
To qualify and succeed in this position:
- You have a passion for customer service, business, and technology.
- You have great communication skills. (Face to Face / E-mail / Phone / etc.) Grammar and spelling are extremely important.
- You are reliable and show up where you need to be on time.
- You are willing and able to travel to customer sites in the Michiana area in your own vehicle, mileage reimbursed.
- You have a "sponge-like" mind, able to absorb and process new knowledge about IT and business daily.
- You are a natural problem solver and have the ability to apply that skill to troubleshooting problems with technology.
- You are able to handle multiple tasks successfully and consistently.
- You are able to consistently document and log your work into our ticketing system (ConnectWise).
Only local candidates (living within 30 miles of Goshen, IN) will be considered.
Network Engineer position is Full Time. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
