Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Salary based on 36 hours: $1,368 - 1,512/week Gross Standard benefits
Job Type: 13-weeksTravel Contract
Travel Required: 75 - mile radius rule - No locals accepted
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience Required.
- BLS Certification,
- RN License,
- Charting System: Epic (required),
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical patient care, IV therapy, and blood product administration.
- Proficiency in managing peripheral lines, PICC lines, and phlebotomy procedures.
- Experience with gastrointestinal care including colostomy and feeding tube management.
- Medication administration including Heparin, Insulin, and PCA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a medical-surgical unit.
- Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform blood product administration.
- Care for patients with colostomies and feeding tubes, including monitoring and maintenance.
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as required.
- Document care accurately in Epic.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and professional nursing standards.
