Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

Shift: Day 3x12 -Hour (6:00am - 6:00pm)

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $38.82/hour (based on experience)

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license authorized to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
• Minimum 6 months of Med-Surg experience (Telemetry experience preferred).
• Proficiency in monitoring/interpreting telemetry and EKG data.
• BLS Certification Required.
• Strong assessment, triage, care planning, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to care for patients across all age groups (infants to geriatrics).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care approach.
• Currently holds or willing to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification Required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on assessment, nursing diagnosis, and individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters using telemetry equipment.
• Care for patients with conditions such as heart failure, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, and other medical/surgical needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary teams, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure quality standards of care.
• Support a 12-bed Med-Surg overflow unit with staffing ratios of 1:4–5 based on acuity.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Advocate for patient safety, education, and overall well-being.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.82 per hour
